USJE optimistic about the establishment of PCRC

The Public Complaint and Review Commission is the proposed independent and public review body for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the Canada Border Services Agency. USJE considers that the creation of an oversight and review mechanism for both agencies is in keeping with the expectations of the Canadian public when it comes to trustworthy, reliable and accountable safety institutions to serve the country.

On Wednesday, August 24th, National President David Neufeld, alongside USJE Regional Vice-President Heather McKinnon, visited the Public Prosecution Service of Canada office in Winnipeg. The visit provided an opportunity for all USJE members at the PPSC office to meet with their Regional Vice-President, the National President for USJE and Local President, Angie Sheard.
