The Public Complaint and Review Commission is the proposed independent and public review body for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the Canada Border Services Agency. USJE considers that the creation of an oversight and review mechanism for both agencies is in keeping with the expectations of the Canadian public when it comes to trustworthy, reliable and accountable safety institutions to serve the country.
The morning was spent at G Division where President Neufeld and RVP Behrens were given a tour of the detachment. In the afternoon, President Neufeld and RVP Behrens were given a tour of the Public Prosecutions Services Canada office.
On September 1, 2022, Regional Vice-Presidents Patrick Ménard and Andréanne Samson accompanied the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Public Safety, Pam Damoff, and the Vice-Chair of the Standing Committee on Public Safety, Bloc Québécois MP Kristina Michaud, on a tour of the Port-Cartier Institution.
Queen Elizabeth II was the longest reigning monarch in the history of Canada. Her Majesty was an integral part of the fabric of our diverse and free society. The Queen was greatly loved across Canada, and She never failed to reciprocate that love towards the people of this country.
On Tuesday, September 6th, National President David Neufeld, along with Regional Vice-President, Valda Behrens, visited the Behchoko Detachment in the Northwest Territories.

USJE National President David Neufeld met with senior Members of the RCMP in O Division alongside MP and Parliamentary Secretary to the Public Safety Minister Pam Damoff.
On Wednesday, August 24th, National President David Neufeld, alongside USJE Regional Vice-President Heather McKinnon, visited the Public Prosecution Service of Canada office in Winnipeg. The visit provided an opportunity for all USJE members at the PPSC office to meet with their Regional Vice-President, the National President for USJE and Local President, Angie Sheard.
