On July 21, USJE National President David Neufeld and USJE Regional Vice-Presidents Jeff Sandelli (CSC Community-Parole Board of Canada-West) and Kirk McIntosh (CSC Manitoba) participated in site visits with CSC’s Commissioner, Talal Dakalbab, and newly appointed Prairie Regional Deputy Commissioner (RDC), Kathy Neil, in Manitoba.
During the final day of Convention, delegates addressed outstanding resolutions from the Bylaw and General Committee.
Today (July 16), USJE Members elected their National Executive team for the 2026-2029 and addressed key convention business.
Following a detailed presentation by Director of Finance and Administration Christina Hatchard on Day 1, which provided an update on USJE’s financial position, convention delegates discussed the proposed 2026-2029 operating budget.

The 2026 USJE National Triennial Convention officially began in Quebec City, bringing together 186 delegates, 23 observers and 9 guests for a total of 218 participants from across the country on the ancestral land of the Wendat, Innu, and Abenaki nations.
