For the first time in its history, USJE organized to have a booth at the trade show in order to share information about its Serving Together campaign, and our ongoing advocacy to not just keep, but strengthen, the role of the RCMP in Alberta.
The USJE Prairies Regional Conference took place on November 4 and 5, 2025 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. It brought together more than 50 USJE representatives for two days of learning, collaboration, and connection.
On October 17, USJE National President David Neufeld and Regional Vice President (RVP) Jeff Sandelli had the opportunity to meet with federal Minister of Job and Families, Patty Hajdu, and MP for Thunder Bay-Superior North.
More than 30 USJE members from across the Pacific region met on October 28-29 in Vancouver to deepen their understanding of USJE, strengthen their skills regarding the Workforce Adjustment Appendix, and learn about mental health supports available to our members.
The USJE Ontario Regional Conference took place October 15-16 in Kingston, ON with 61 participants coming together to connect with the union and each other.
In accordance with By-Law 10, Section 3 of the Union of Safety and Justice Employees (USJE) By-Laws, the National Executive has decided to hold the Twentieth Triennial National Convention, at the Hilton Quebec Hotel, 1100, boul. René-Lévesque Est, Quebec, Quebec from July 13th to 17th, 2026.
On September 24, USJE Regional Vice Presidents led an info picket outside the Department of Justice building at 284 Wellington Street in Ottawa.
