As 2023 was wrapping up, we turned to the membership to suggest exciting new items for the USJE Boutique. We are glad we did! Many members seized the chance and suggested fun new USJE goodies.
PSAC is consulting with RCMP Civilian Members (CM) in order to better represent them as they transition into the federal public service.
At an awards ceremony on April 9, 2024, seven USJE members took centre stage in Ottawa to represent our union and the hard work our members accomplish.
RCMP and Treasury Board have confirmed that the deduction of union dues for RCMP civilian members began on April 3, 2024.
All RCMP civilian members represented by PSAC and USJE are invited to attend a national townhall meeting, April 17 or 18.
On March 26 and 27, RVP Carol Osborne visited USJE Local 00078 in Kingston, Ontario, for site visits at the Kingston Parole Office, Greater Ontario and Nunavut District Office and Henry Traill Community Correctional Centre and later attended the Local’s AGM.
On March 25, 2024, RVP Carol Osborne was in Kingston for the annual general meeting of USJE Local 00143.
